As every year, we gathered in Torremirona to celebrate the “calçots” season with a tournament and a great “calçotada” at Mas Cucut Restaurant, in the nearby village of Queixàs. In this edition 46 players participated, and more than fifty people enjoyed the fantastic “calçots” of the restaurant.
On February 21, 2026 we celebrate the Mas Cucut Tournament, in collaboration with the Mas Cucut Restaurant, a Catalan cuisine restaurant in the Alt Empordà with options for all tastes and ages, located in a farmhouse with a family and cozy atmosphere.
This was the ninth edition, which reflects the passion with which the players participate and the desire with which the Club and the Restaurant collaborate to celebrate it year after year. With 46 players and more than 50 diners, this edition was notable for the presence of many new participants.
Throughout the meal there was a relaxed and fun atmosphere, with great moments to share among friends and fellow players, and with the illusion present at each table.
At the awards ceremony, the following winners of this edition were announced:
- Scratch Winner: Javier Domingo (29 points)
- Lower Handicap Winner: Salvador Belvis (36 points)
- 2nd Place Lower Handicap: Manel Alemany (35 points)
- Superior Handicap Winner: Diego Casellas (39 points)
- 2nd Classified Superior Handicap: Ramón Gil (38 points)
